Ingredients:-

  • One cabbage medium size
  • Three potatoes medium size
  • Two tomatoes medium size
  • Mustard oil
  • Two teaspoons of ginger chopped
  • One teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • Half teaspoon of cumin powder
  • Three to four chillies
  • One dry red chilli
  • Two Indian bay leaves
  • Half tablespoon cumin seeds
  • Salt as on test
  • And finally half teaspoon of garam masala for a pleasant smell. Sometimes kids aren’t like cabbage because of its smell so the garam masala or adding the mixture of hot spices can be the solution of it.
  • We can also add another vegetable like carrots, peas to make this dish more nutritious and colourful.

Cooking procedure:-

First, peel potatoes and make it into four pieces, cut tomatoes in four-slice, perfectly chopped the cabbage and wash them all of them in ordinary freshwater. Now take a pan to add oil and make potatoes, carrots, and peas half fry on low flame, before we start the main course take these in a separate pot. Again heat the oil for a few seconds put cumin seeds,(be aware cumin seeds often popped up) dry chilli, Indian bay leaves, chopped ginger in the pan. When the cumin seeds become little brown colour, then add the chopped cabbage and half fry potato, sliced tomatoes, green chilli, turmeric powder and salt as on test. Now cover the pan and left it on low flame for ten minutes for boiling.

Recipe after 10 minutes

After ten minutes open the cover and add cumin powder. Now fry the total vegetables in low flame and make sure the potatoes are correctly boiling perfectly otherwise cover it for more 5 minutes. After this, when the entire water become evaporate, and the vegetables become fry ideally, that means it’s ready. Check the salt and turn off the flame, at last, add garam masala mixture for a pleasant aroma.

Now the dish is ready to serve with its great flavour and aroma. Enjoy it with steamed rice, roti, parathas or whichever you prefer.
