Olives 2 tbsp chopped
One can red beans
Rice long grain 475g
Plantains 300g ripe
4 ounces of tomato sauce
3 cups of water
1tbsp of paprika
Take a saucepan and add oil, let it heat. Then add sofrito and let it cook for a few minutes. Now add tomato sauce and mix it with sofrito. Also, add paprika to the sauce and stir it for a couple of minutes.
Now add canned red beans to the above mixture. Add it with its juice. Add the whole can. Stir it again and add salt. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Finally, add uncooked rice and mix it with the bean mixture. Now add water and combine the water properly with the rice.
Cover the saucepan with the lid. Let it cook at medium heat for a few minutes.
